8. Zero Carbon Policy
1. To choose for the application to have achieved a zero carbon status before 2030 by simply evolving from data centres that use fossil fuels to data centres that only use renewable energy.
2. To have chosen in 2013 to deploy solar panels as a registered micro-generator of electricity, however that only applied during daylight hours.
3. To have chosen in 2018 to deploy massive electric storage batteries that are charged by solar panels and extend the hours when renewables are in exclusive use from only daylight hours to an equivalent amount of night-time hours.
4. To have chosen in 2020 to deploy 12 volt computer equipment that is all powered from 12 volt batteries so in the event of a mains power interruption, the application keeps on operating from battery power. To have improved electrical efficiency by more than 15% by eliminating low-voltage DC to high-voltage AC invertors and high-voltage AC to low-voltage DC power supply units.
5. To have chosen to deploy 12 volt lighting, 12 volt air conditioning and 12 volt air purification systems to dramatically improve power efficiency and reduce costs.
6. To provide mobile phone charging facilities that are powered from the massive battery farm that shall continue to evolve in the drive toward reducing the use of mains electricity. To choose renewable mains electricity suppliers to top up the batteries on cheap over-night energy.
7. To do everything that is practical to cut the cost of energy and to implement a zero-carbon policy.

9. Environmental Policy
1. To do whatever it takes to look after the planet and look after the environment.
2. To eliminate the use of natural gas for any purpose. To eliminate the use of fossil fuels for any purpose.
3. To minimise the cost and use of energy. To generate as much renewable energy as is practical from solar panels.
4. To minimise the cost and use of water. To capture and reuse as much rain water as is practical with massive water storage tanks and filtration systems. To use fish pools with aquatic plants to clean the water and kill bacteria. To minimise all discharges into a public sewerage system.
5. To maximise the capture of carbon with trees, bushes, plants and food. To grow as much hydroscopic food as is practical in closed areas.
6. To minimise the cost and use of private electric vehicles. To charge electric vehicles from solar panels and use the electric vehicles as additional battery power to operate data centres.
7. To minimise the cost and use of space heating by reusing heat generated by the data centre as the primary source of all heating. To maximise the insulation to minimise heat loss and to minimise noise.
8. To minimise the cost of heating by using geo-thermal pipes and heat-exchange units to amplify the underground heat during the winter and to conduct waste heat into the earth during the summer.
9. To renew and repair almost everything. To discard very little. To generate compost from organic waste. To generate heat from some inflammable waste.
10. To help others copy these same environmental policies with guidance, examples and demonstration. To implement all Government guidance to help look after the environment.
